Introduction: Asian Journal of Medical Sciences
The Asian Journal of Medical Sciences is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes original research articles, review papers, and case reports in all areas of medical sciences. The journal aims to provide a platform for researchers, academicians, and healthcare professionals to disseminate their findings and share their knowledge and experiences in the field of medical sciences. The Asian Journal of Medical Sciences gets original content relevant to recent advances in medical sciences. The Asian Journal of Medical Sciences (AJMS) was first published in May 2010, marking the beginning of its scholarly journey. The journal is available both online and in print, with an electronic ISSN of 2091-0576 and a print ISSN of 2467-9100. AJMS has steadily gained recognition in the scientific community and was added to the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) on 26th May 2020. Subsequently, on 15th December 2020, AJMS was also added to CAB Abstracts and/or Global Health database, starting coverage from Volume 11, No. 1, 2020 onwards. Full-text articles are readily available, and the journal continues to maintain high standards of scientific rigour and ethical publishing practices.
The journal will consider clinical or laboratory research studies and case report for publication. Additionally, papers on specific themes, such as invited papers, editorials, and reviews, may also be accepted for publication. To be eligible for publication, manuscripts must be original and cannot be under consideration for publication elsewhere, including any accompanying pictures, tables, and figures.
The scope of the journal covers various disciplines including but not limited to anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, pathology, microbiology, immunology, surgery, radiology, and clinical medicine. Asian Journal of Medical Sciences Process of Publication
The Asian Journal of Medical Sciences charges publication fees of up to $200 for article processing charges (APCs), with no waiver policy available. The peer review process includes a preliminary review by the editor, followed by three peer reviews, one of which is an external reviewer. Peer reviewers are given three to four weeks to submit their report, and the author is given one week to revise their article based on the feedback. The journal publishes 12 issues per year, both online and in print. It takes approximately 20 weeks from submission to publication of an accepted article. The APC for authors from SAARC countries is $150, and for others, it is $200. If authors withdraw their article after peer review and acceptance, they will receive a refund of 70% of the APC, but no refunds will be given once the article is processed.The publication offers unrestricted access to its content right away to facilitate the worldwide dissemination of information.

Duties of Author
The reporting requirements for authors of original research call for a fair discussion of the relevance of the work done as well as an accurate portrayal of the work that was done. Originality and proper citation of sources are expected, as is a proper acknowledgement of co-authors and contributors. Data should be made available for editorial review and public access when practicable. Multiple publications of the same research is considered unethical behaviour. Authors should disclose any conflicts of interest or sources of financial support. Errors in published work should be promptly corrected. If the work involves any hazardous materials, the author must clearly identify them.
